Fighting the Germies

June24

This year, physically, has been rather miserable. The allergies kicked in, and I never had them before. Then, I caught two colds in the same freakin’ month. What’s that all about?

Well, I’m not taking it lying down. I’m taking my vitamins, trying to get enough sleep, and watching what I eat. Okay, so mostly I watch it going from my hand to my mouth, but at least I’m watching it, right? Anyway, I’m going to look into allergy bedding as well. Something tells me I’m going to need all the weapons in my arsenal I can get.

Old age. It gets better every day. /sarcasm.

Considering I’ve been nearly, literally kicked in the head with my allergies, I think I might have to invest in some allergy bedding. I used to buy it for Z when he was little and it did seem to help.

hmmm, my allergies have been raging this year. Do you really think it’s because we’re getting old(er)?

    lala;-)

Welcome to Over Forty and Loving It! We’re just getting started, but we’re bringing women over forty the information they need and want. With our hormones deserting us, our kids leaving the house, we believe women should look forward to this stage of their lives. It’s not always pretty, not always easy, but we feel if you just keep an open mind, along with a wicked sense of humor, it can be fun.

You might be wondering, who are we? We’re two old friends who have nearly a hundred years of experience between us. We’ve both worked as nurses, as writers, love music and enjoy traveling whenever possible.  We know the joys and devastation of relationships. So here we are! Enjoy!
