It can’t be almost Christmas time again, can it? Just where did the year go and how come the older you get the faster the years fly by. It hard for me to get into Christmas, especially here in Florida. There’s no fall nip in the air, and no chance of snow. And you know, Christmas shows up earlier and earlier in the stores. We went shopping at Big Lots Friday, and they already have their Christmas stuff set up. It’s not even Halloween yet.

But one thing I am grateful for is I don’t have to shop for toys. I don’t really have to shop for anything. I quit giving presents years ago.

I am, however, excited because I’ve always wanted to attend Midnight Mass and as one of my friends is a devout Catholic, she says I can attend with her and her family this year.

But for the most part, Christmas is just another summer day to me.
